Eviction Notice

I have been told that in California, if you have lived in your apartment or duplex for more than 1 year, the Property Management Co. must give you a 60 day notice rather than the 30 day notice that was common. Can you tell me if the law has been changed to 60 days? Thank you

The notice period is 60 days to terminate a lease or non-renew, but not if there is an eviction for non-payment, hazard, etc. An eviction is much different than a non-renewal or termination.
